Application Scenarios
Solar PV panels are exposed to prolonged sunlight, rain, rooftop or mountainous environments, and year-round weathering.
Solutions
To ensure label durability under extreme outdoor conditions, the following reliability tests are conducted:
Wipe with ethanol (98% concentration) for 15 seconds to assess ink and ribbon fading.
Subject to UV irradiation of 60 kW·h/m² to evaluate ink and ribbon colorfastness.
- PCT Accelerated Aging Test
Exposure to 121°C with 100% humidity for 48 hours to examine label print integrity and edge lifting.
- TC200 Thermal Cycling Test
Cyclic testing between -40°C and 85°C, with 5-hour cycles repeated 200 times.
“Double 85” test (85°C, 85% humidity) for 48 hours to evaluate print quality and adhesive lifting.
- HF10 Freeze-Thaw Humidity Test
Testing at -20°C for 48 hours to assess print durability and label lifting.
- International Certification
For export markets, labels also comply with UL certification requirements.
